Back in 2003, 3 Stay at Home Dads from Washington DC who belonged to a great play group wondered why there wasn’t a network so that other dads around the country could find great playgroups like theirs. That’s when the idea of the National at Home Dad Network was born. The Network provides support, education and advocacy for men who are the primary caregivers of their children.
As of 2013 there were over 213,000 stay-at-home-dads in the United States, and I’m one of them. I am honored that they have chosen me to interview for their “Meet a Dad” section.
